Your Work:
With a full range of clinical specialities within the Trust your work will encompass involvement in all the routine surgical and medical specialities and the opportunity to be exposed to specialist work in many of these. Indeed, multidisciplinary projects with some of the specialities will give you the chance to make your mark on the services we provide.
Whilst respecting the skills of other professions we do not recognise any barriers to the radiographer's, or indeed any other profession's role. This ethos will offer an opportunity for you to not just work closely with other professions but to learn skills beyond the traditional boundaries of radiography and support others within the radiology environment.
You will work with lively, friendly, forward thinking professional staff. Highly skilled and highly educated people with a breathtaking range of abilities, some specialised, some generalist, who strive to provide the very best service in every section of the department and as a whole.
Supported by a formidable human resource we can encourage your development, whether your interests lie in IT, Management, Specialist or Generalist clinical work.
Through our inclusive staff appraisal system a senior member of staff will be allocated to supporting your development within the department, identifying your learning needs, encouraging and mentoring you. We will help you to lead your own professional development, create your own Personal Development Plan, manage your own Continuous Professional Development and communicate your needs and aspirations.
